After the goods have been scanned and o nce the APM has been selected either by the salesclerk or the consumer, Verifone generates a QR code that contains:

• The Merchant ID (MID)
• The Final ID (TID)
• The Transaction ID: The transaction ID is a in one case, time based sixteen digit numeric string that can simply be used at the time of the transaction

Processing steps

1. The consumer, who has authenticated to her or his smart phone with a grade of biometric, scans the QR code either with the APM app or directly with the phone's camera.
